TianDe - SPA Technology

According to one version, SPA is an abbreviation for the Latin expression Sanus per Aqua, which literally means "health through water". Back in the 5th century. BC. e. the Greek scientist and thinker Herodotus created a technique for the use of mineral water for medicinal purposes. A little later, the famous healer Hippocrates mentioned in his writings about the benefits and amazing properties of sea, salt and river water. The ancient Romans, having adopted the experience of the Greeks, came up with the terms - baths.
Today, the spa is an entire industry and a complex of exquisite salon procedures with the use of valuable natural ingredients, which bring into harmony not only the body but also the spirit. Cosmetic products of the SPA technology series are created in the best traditions of the spa and include "luxury ingredients" (pearl powder and hydrolyzed pearl protein, placenta extract, hydrolyzed silk). The SPA technology line includes components aimed at meeting the most important skin needs - in moisturizing.
Our skin is almost 2/3 of water, which corresponds to approximately 8 liters. In this case, it contains 25-35% of the water of our entire body. Moisture is necessary for the skin for full-fledged work, as the air is easy.
In summer, the skin needs to be moistened, because:
- because of the heat, it sweats and actively loses moisture;
- in air-conditioned rooms the air is very dry, therefore the skin loses its moisture reserves 2-3 times faster than on the street;
- UV rays destroy the epidermal barrier, which entails an increase in transepidermal moisture losses.
In winter, the skin needs to be moistened, because:
- at low temperatures, moisture from its surface evaporates very quickly, so the prevailing view that in winter it is not necessary to use moisturizers is no more than a delusion;
- in heated rooms the air is very dry, so the skin quickly loses its moisture reserves;
cold wind, frost contribute to the destruction of the epidermal barrier, which entails an increase in transepidermal moisture losses.
The skin by nature has its own irrigation system. It has a water intake mechanism that "extracts" water from internal and external sources, is a natural moisturizing factor (NMF). It is located in the stratum corneum and is represented by a complex of organic molecules: amino acids, fats, salts, minerals and other substances that attract moisture from air and cosmetics and keep it in the epidermis.

For the safety of water in the skin and the epidermal (lipid) barrier is responsible - this is a defensive structure that serves as the main barrier to the evaporating liquid. Epidermal lipids play the role of "cement", connecting the cells of the epidermis with each other. If there are gaps in the cement, the skin loses its barrier properties, and the water evaporates from it very intensively. This process of transepidermal loss of moisture (TEWL - Transepidermal Moisture Loss) and is one of the main causes of dehydration.
Active components of the SPA technology series:
- able to "quench your thirst" skin: intensely saturate it with moisture;
- restore the physiological skin moisturizer - a natural moisturizing factor (NMF);
- protect the skin from "water leakage", "patching the holes" of the epidermal barrier and reducing transepidermal moisture loss (TEWL).
