Suitable for normal to dry skin, especially skin with a damaged barrier prone to paresthesia, irritation and inflammation.
Mechanism of action
This daily skin care cream is fragrance-free and designed for skin with a damaged barrier. Its creamy base contains no emulsifiers and uses skin-identical lipids (Dermal Membrane System DMS). These epidermal lipids (ceramides, phospholipids, sphingolipids, etc.) form the skin barrier. When epidermal lipids are deficient, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) increases, leading to a feeling of tightness and flaking. The cream base repairs barrier damage, stabilizing the skin's protective function and reducing TEWL, restoring skin flexibility.
Two active substances in the cream reduce redness and irritation, and also fight inflammatory processes in the epidermis - a cytokine (chemical messenger) from milk and a special extract from capers.
Coenzyme Q10 provides a mild anti-aging effect, improving the energy state of cells and activating cellular respiration, as well as protecting cells from free radicals.
Hyaluronic acid acts as a long-lasting moisturizing agent, restoring moisture levels and elasticity to the skin. Even hypersensitive skin becomes balanced.
Home use
Apply the cream to the face and neck in the morning after cleansing, toning and applying serum.
