The cream base does not contain emulsifiers and is based on lipids identical to skin lipids. These stratum corneum lipids, such as ceramides, phospholipids and sphingolipids, form the link between keratinocytes and the skin barrier. When these lipids are deficient, there is an increase in transepidermal water loss (TEWL), resulting in tight and scaly skin. The cream restores the damaged barrier, stabilizing the skin's protective function and significantly reducing moisture loss, without weighing the skin down.

Licorice root extract in the cream is effective against irritation and inflammation. Ectoine, a natural component extracted from microorganisms, has cell-protective, anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilizing properties. It stimulates skin repair mechanisms and increases its resistance to external influences.

Hyaluronic acid and mineral light protection provide hydration and UV protection throughout the day.
