Mandelic acid is considered the most effective of the ANA acids in the treatment of acne, since it is a good keratolytic, prevents comedogenesis and has a bactericidal effect, comparable in effectiveness to the use of antibiotics. Mandelic acid does not have a photosensitizing effect, and therefore peeling can be done in the summer.

Peeling is indicated for use with:

• Seborea
• Comedonal and papulopustular form of acne of I and II degree
• Signs of photoaging; hyperpigmentation
• Hyperkeratosis

Peeling can be performed as a prophylaxis of infectious complications after laser peels.

Method of application: thoroughly cleanse the skin with a cleanser. Degrease the skin with a degreasing agent. Apply 1.5-2 ml of peeling with a thin layer with a brush. The exposure time is determined by the beautician. Carefully neutralize the effect of peeling with a neutralizing agent. Apply a regenerating cream.
